Liked the parallel between the barren Sarah, and virgin Mary. Actually, there’s a whole other list of barren women in the Old. But maybe no better Christ archetype than Isaac in this matter.
I liked the application too – that if we’re Isaacs, we should rejoice in our miraculous birth. But what if we’re just good pew-warmers?
